About me...

My journey in software development began in high school, where I was introduced to HTML and CSS. What started as a fascination with building static websites quickly evolved into a deep passion for creating impactful, scalable web applications.

At 17, I founded Aspiorn Web Solutions, a web development business that served local clients. This entrepreneurial venture taught me early lessons in project management, client communication, and delivering value-driven software — laying the groundwork for my professional career.

After earning a Bachelor’s in Computer Science & Engineering, I relocated to Australia to pursue a Master’s in Information Technology at Charles Sturt University, where I specialized in Software Design and Development. Post-graduation, I joined a tech startup as a Junior Software Engineer and contributed across the full stack — building applications with React and Node.js while also learning about cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Since then, I’ve spent the last five years building and scaling software systems across fintech, environmental services, and martech domains. My focus has consistently been on delivering maintainable, performant, and user-centric solutions that align closely with business goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy building side projects to experiment with new tools, and I’m always eager to stay updated with evolving technologies. When offline, you'll find me exploring nature, traveling, or spending quality time with family.

Technologies I have worked with...

Projects Portfolio

Project: Simply FiComing Soon

Simply Fi

Back in late December 2023, my partner and I managed finances with spreadsheets, but they were limiting. I tried Notion for better visuals and structure, but it lacked analytics and dynamic features. It improved our setup slightly, but still wasn’t a complete or convenient budgeting solution.

Project: Natours

Natours

I created this project as part of the Advanced CSS and Sass course by Jonas Schmedtmann. It follows the BEM methodology and the 7-1 Sass architecture pattern, and is fully responsive across a range of devices.

Project: Forkify

Forkify

I built the Forkify project as part of the The Complete JavaScript Course (2019) course by Jonas Schmedtmann. It was developed using Webpack, Babel, JavaScript (ES6), and the Food2Fork API. The app allows users to search, view, and shortlist thousands of recipes. It also lets users save their favorite recipes and update serving sizes.

Project: Aspiron Web Solutions

Aspiron Web Solutions

This website was developed in 2019 for my own web design business, which I ran for several years and grew to serve over 25 clients. It was built using HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Bootstrap. The site is fully responsive, providing a seamless experience across all devices and screen sizes.

Project: Calea

Calea

CALEA is a one-page e-commerce watch store I developed as part of a 30-hour design challenge. Built with HTML, CSS, Flexbox, Vanilla JavaScript, and Sass, the site features a fully responsive design that adapts seamlessly across a wide range of devices

Project: BestPrix

BestPrix

An e-commerce project that allowed users to compare prices across various e-commerce platforms and monitor them with smart alerts. Bestprix's database was curated by scraping multiple e-commerce websites using a custom spider built with Scrapy, a Python library.

My Experience

Full Stack Developer @ Bingo Industries

Jan 2023 - Present

[2 Years 5 months]

Bingo Industries, a leading waste management company in Australia, embarked on a full-scale digital transformation to retire its aging legacy systems. The challenge was to build a modern, enterprise-grade platform GoCollect to manage real-time job servicing, fleet operations, and logistics across multiple departments handling over 2,500 jobs daily.

As a Full Stack Developer, I contributed towards building and scaling this ecosystem of integrated web, desktop, and mobile applications. I translated Figma designs into responsive, accessible UIs in a React + TypeScript environment, powering the allocator-facing application used by 50+ staff. I also built and maintained features for the React Native Driver App, used by 1,000+ drivers across Australia for daily bin collection and servicing.

On the backend, I built and maintained GraphQL APIs using Node.js, Apollo Server, MikroORM, and PostgreSQL to facilitate seamless integration with front-end services and Microsoft Dynamics 365. I also engineered serverless microservices using AWS Lambda, SQS, and SNS—one set to integrate with a Job Optimization API for dynamic scheduling, and another to automate job and runsheet generation based on Customer Service Agreements.

Software Engineer (Frontend) @ Ezypay

Mar 2020 - Dec 2022

[2 Years 9 months]

Ezypay is a leading subscription and payment collection provider in the Asia-Pacific region, offering embedded payment solutions for SaaS companies and technology platforms. I worked on two major projects—Ezypay Merchant Platform, a standalone Progressive Web App (PWA) for Ezypay’s clients, and EVA, an internal support tool for handling customer inquiries related to payments and subscriptions.

As a core contributor to the Ezypay Merchant Platform, I collaborated closely with UI/UX designers and product managers to shape user flows, wireframes, and early application screens. I developed reusable components in Angular 10+ with NgRx and Capacitor, and integrated them with a backend powered by Apollo Server, GraphQL, Hasura and PostgreSQL. I also containerized services using Docker to deploy them via AWS ECS and Fargate, and set up a CI/CD pipeline using CircleCI and Fastlane, enabling continuous delivery to the web, Android (Play Store), and iOS (App Store).

For EVA, built with Vue.js and Vuex, I implemented new features and did bug fixes to ensure reliability, using GraphQL APIs powered by Apollo Server, and Hasura, enabling efficient data handling and performance for support teams. I also worked on other Ezypay products like Checkout, PayNow, and the Hosted Payment Page.

Junior Software Engineer @ RevTech Media

Sep 2019 - Nov 2019

[2 months]

RevTech Media is a marketing and technology services company specializing in distributing insurance, utilities, telco, and financial products across the globe. I worked on the development of the One Big Switch platform, enabling users to discover the best utility deals and access exclusive discounts through collective buying power.

As a Full Stack developer, I developed marketing and lead generation single-page applications for One Big Switch, FiftyUp Club, and 9 Saver, building reusable components using React.js and Redux, and ensuring quality through React Testing Library and Jest. On the backend, I built scalable REST APIs using AWS Lambda, Node.js, Amazon API Gateway, and DynamoDB, following a serverless architecture pattern and seamlessly integrating new services into the existing platform using AWS CloudFormation.
